Where to see my work this summer

I feel very lucky to be part of several exhibitions and events that will make my work accessible to people across Sussex in the new few months. I’m writing to share some opportunities to see my paintings in person this summer.

1. Pretty Neat, Beside The Sea Exhibition - until 13 September

My first time exhibiting in this gallery tucked away in Brighton Marina, I have two new pieces showing: ‘Dive In, It’s Lovely’ and ‘Swimming Towards the Horizon’. The exhibition runs until 13th September and is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 5.30pm at Pretty Neat Gallery, 37 The Waterfront, Brighton Marina Village, BN2 5WA. I loved creating these paintings which evoke memories of the turquoise seas of a recent trip to Greece and the cooling water here in Brighton during the recent heatwaves. The paintings are available direct from the gallery.

2. Atelier By The Sea, Open 2026 Exhibition - until 13 September

This beautiful creative arts space is right on Brighton’s sea front. This year their annual Open exhibition hosts artwork by 164 artists and makers - there’s something for everyone and I’m delighted to have had three paintings included which are available in the gallery and online. The exhibition is open and runs until 13th September at 165 Kings Road Arches, Brighton, BN1 1NB - open every day 11am to 5pm.

3. The Makers Fair, Standen House - 11 to 13 September

This will be my first time showing at an art and craft fair, and I think it will be a good one! The Makers Fair hosts events around Sussex, and I’ll be at National Trust property Standen House from 11 to 13 September. They say: ‘set against the backdrop of this stunning Arts & Crafts house and its glorious gardens, you'll discover an inspiring collection of talented independent makers and artists from across Sussex and beyond. Browse beautifully handcrafted work, meet the makers, watch live demonstrations and enjoy a wonderful day out in one of the country's most picturesque settings.’ What’s more to like?!

4. Lindfield Arts, Annual Exhibition - 26 September

Lindfield is a beautiful little village in mid Sussex that holds a special place in my heart - it’s where my grandparents lived and where my Mum now lives and I have lots of fond memories growing up there. It feels very special to be exhibiting in the place where my Grandma once exhibited her own paintings many years ago. I’ll be showing some brand new work at the one day exhibition on Saturday 26th September, from 10am to 5pm at King Edward Hall.
